Increased delivery latency and a small number of failed deliveries

Resolved

We lost between 10 and 17 deliveries around 14:18 UTC. We are communicating with affected customers directly.
A large number of other deliveries had extended retries around that time which caused greater than usual latency.
We believe this was due to network connection issue connecting to an internal database.
A fix is being developed and applied to avoid the issue reoccurring.
